ABC has a plethora of holiday programming lined up for viewers, with a mix of classic Christmas specials, new shows and fun content to keep everyone in the festive spirit.

From November 27th to January 1st, ABC will be airing special episodes of popular shows such as "Abbott Elementary", "America's Funniest Home Videos" and "Shifting Gears". The network is also premiering two brand-new holiday specials: "Kevin Costner Presents: The First Christmas" which explores the extraordinary journey of Mary and Joseph leading up to Jesus' birth, and "Olaf's Frozen Adventure", an animated holiday special that sees Olaf teaming up with Sven on a merry mission to save Anna and Elsa's first Christmas.

Fans of classic Disney movies can look forward to watching "The Sound of Music" and "Home Alone", both of which will be airing as part of the Wonderful World of Disney Presents series. The network is also hosting its 40th Anniversary Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, which will feature musical performances from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida; Disneyland Resort in California and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii.

The Big Game, or rather the NBA games on Christmas Day, are set to air, with six games scheduled across different time zones. Viewers can also spend the final night of the year counting down to midnight in Times Square with "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025".

Sports fans won't want to miss this year's NBA Christmas Special Presented by State Farm, which features some of the biggest names in basketball. And music lovers can look forward to watching "iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2025", a celebration of the season's best in music featuring superstar performances.

omg i'm literally so excited for this!!! 🎉 ABC is killing it with their holiday programming this year! I mean who doesn't love a good Christmas special? "The First Christmas" sounds so beautifully done, i need to watch it ASAP 🙏 and of course, "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" is just too cute for words 😂. Man I love this time of year! It feels like Christmas just started since they're already playing all these classic Disney movies 🎄. Remember when we used to watch "The Sound of Music" on VHS? Now it's all about streaming, but the magic remains same. And can't forget those old-school Home Alone episodes 😂. I'm also stoked they're doing that 40th Anniversary Disney Parade thingy – I've been to those parades with my family when I was a kid, and now we get to watch them on TV 🎉. The NBA games on Christmas Day are always lit too! It's like the whole country comes together to celebrate the holiday season 🏀. I'm not convinced about this holiday lineup... 🤔 Where's the source on Kevin Costner being involved with "The First Christmas"? I couldn't find any info on him producing or narrating a documentary special about Mary and Joseph. Sounds like a marketing ploy to me 😒. And what's up with Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade? When did this event start, and how many people have actually watched it live? 📺 Is it really that special?
