You be the judge: take part in our live event

Guardians Invite You to Decide: Let's Hear Your Domestic Dispute Story

The Guardian is throwing open its doors for a unique event where readers can air their grievances in a live setting, with the help of a panel of experts. On November 26th, during "An evening of Guardian culture," one very real domestic dispute will take center stage.

Are you fed up with a never-ending cycle of arguing with your partner or roommate? Do you have a story that's equal parts hilarious and infuriating? The Guardian wants to hear it. They're calling on people from all walks of life to submit their most epic domestic disputes, and if selected, they'll get to present their case live in front of a panel of experts.

In exchange for sharing your frustrations with the world, you'll receive a £100 gift card for Trullo and a copy of Tim Siadatan's new cookbook Padella. But that's not all - both parties involved will have to agree to be featured in the live event, and you'll need to provide proof of consent.

The event is open to individuals from across the UK who are willing to travel to London for the live show. Don't miss your chance to put your voice on the record and let a panel of experts sort out your domestic drama once and for all. So why not take a deep breath, tell us your story, and see how we'll decide.

To get involved, simply fill out the application form before November 10th. Remember, your responses are secure, as the Guardian has access to an encrypted online form that only allows experts to access the submissions.

lol what a bloody great idea , who hasn't had a domestic dispute in their life anyway? I think it's gonna be super entertaining to see people just vent on stage . but like I dunno how the experts are gonna sort out all the BS and drama... probably just give everyone a £100 gift card and call it a day. and omg the cookbook is like what even is that got anythin' to do with it?

omg i feel like this is soooo my jam lol i just had the craziest convo with my sis about who left the dishes in the sink lol she's always been super messy but i never thought to call her out on it until we were both hangry and stressed . anyway idk if its a good idea to air all ur dirty laundry like that, but at the same time, £100 gift card for trullo is totes worth the drama

i was thinking maybe they could just have a private mediator or something instead of having a big panel of experts watching you go live lol i dont wanna be on national tv and have my whole life played out for everyone to see . plus, what if u just need some time 2 process ur emotions b4 u talk about it in public ?

I gotta say, if I had a spare £100 and a strong opinion, I'd totally do this 🤑. Can you imagine sharing your most epic domestic dispute with a panel of experts? It's like therapy, but way more entertaining 😂. And the £100 gift card for Trullo sounds like a sweet bonus - I love their pasta sauces! 👌 But seriously, it's kinda cool that The Guardian is doing this to bring attention to household conflicts. Maybe it'll help people see things from different perspectives or just have a good laugh about it 🤣. Just hope the live event doesn't get too heated 🔥... who knows what kind of drama will unfold?

🤔 I think this is such a cool idea 🎉! Who doesn't have a crazy argument with someone they live with from time to time? It's like therapy in a live setting, but way more entertaining 😂. And £100 gift card for Trullo and a cookbook? That's the cherry on top 🍰. The Guardian is really showing us that even in difficult conversations, there's room for some humor and lightheartedness. Plus, getting to share your story with others might just help you work through it 💬. Let's get our voices heard and maybe even find a resolution (or at least a good laugh) 🤗

omg I'm lowkey intrigued 🤯, like who wouldn't wanna share their crazy domestic drama with a live panel of experts? £100 gift card and a cookbook are pretty sweet perks too 🍰👍 I think it's dope they're trying to make people feel heard and stuff. Can you even imagine the tea that'll be spilled on stage tho? 💁‍♀️ I'm definitely gonna fill out that application form before Nov 10th, might as well let my voice be heard! 😂

I'm not sure about this... I mean, I think it's kinda cool that people can share their stories and get a chance to air some grievances 🤔, but at the same time, aren't we just piling more drama onto our already crazy lives? 💥 And what if those "experts" are just gonna judge us and tell us we're being unreasonable? 🤷‍♀️ I mean, wouldn't it be better to just talk things out with your partner or roommate in the first place? 🤝 But hey, if sharing our stories can help others avoid similar situations, then maybe it's worth a shot... I guess 😐

I think this is a great idea for The Guardian. They're basically creating a safe space for people to share their frustrations and let the experts help sort things out. £100 is a nice incentive too, who wouldn't want some Trullo cash? 🤑 But what I'm curious about is how they'll actually decide on which stories to feature. Will it be just a random selection or will they have some sort of criteria in place? And I do hope the couples involved are prepared for some serious scrutiny - it's not all laughs and tears, you know 😂.

I think it's a sick idea! 🤣 Who hasn't had those epic domestic disputes with their partner or roommate? It's like, we've all been there, right? 😂 I'm definitely going to consider applying. The £100 gift card for Trullo is a major incentive. But, you know, it's gotta be real. Like, if you're just gonna make something up, the experts are gonna see through it and call you out. You need to really bare your soul about what's been going on in that household. My friend has a crazy story from when she was living with her ex... I'm curious to hear how they'd sort it all out live on stage. 💬

I'm telling ya, back in my day... people just didn't air their dirty laundry like this! I mean, what's wrong with just having a quiet word with your partner or roommate? You know, like me and my mate Dave back in '97... we had a massive fight over whose turn it was to buy the pizza 🍕. We ended up going to bed that night still arguing 😂. Nowadays, everyone's all about sharing their drama with the world like it's some sort of therapy session 🤯. I'm not saying it won't be entertaining watching people squabble live on stage... but I worry they'll just get a bunch of armchair quarterbacks trying to solve their problems 😬.

🤔 I'm not sure about this one... seems like a pretty convenient way for The Guardian to get some juicy gossip out of people. £100 gift card? That's a pretty big incentive, especially if you're feeling stuck in a rut with your partner or roommate. But what's the real motive here? Are they just looking to stir up some drama or actually help people work through their issues?

And have you seen the panel of experts that'll be judging these domestic disputes? Like who exactly are they qualified to decide on our relationships? I need some sources on this one before I consider sharing my own story. Can't say I'm totally sold on this idea... 🤷
