With ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash,’ James Cameron just can’t leave Pandora - Detroit Metro Times

I'm so done with Jake Sullys transformation already lol 🤯 like, how many times can you turn a human into a Na'vi and expect us to buy it? The guy's got some serious daddy issues going on too... can't he just have his own journey for once? 😒 Also, what's up with the clone-like offspring? Sigourney Weaver deserves so much better than that. And don't even get me started on the space witch – Oona Chaplin is the real MVP in this movie 🤩

I dunno about this one 🤔... I mean, I love James Cameron and Pandora is just so immersive, but like, doesn't it feel like we're stuck in a loop? 🔄 Every Avatar movie is basically the same story with slightly different tweaks. And don't get me wrong, Oona Chaplin's character was lit 🔥, but it felt like she got shortchanged in terms of development.

I think what really disappointed me was how the Sully family just felt so... predictable. I mean, we've seen Jake go from human to Na'vi and back again so many times now 🤦‍♂️, it's starting to feel like a joke. And don't even get me started on the plot holes 😒... still, it was kinda fun watching in 3D 🎥, but at the end of the day, I'm just hoping Cameron tries something new next time out 🤞

I just watched Avatar: Fire and Ash with my grandkids 🤔... honestly, I was a bit disappointed. I know they love the franchise, but it feels like we're stuck in a never-ending loop of the same old story beats 😐. The visuals are still stunning, no doubt about that! 🌟 But sometimes, even with all the tech magic, you can't hide a tired narrative.

I'm glad Oona Chaplin was in it - she brought some much-needed fun to the movie 🎬. But overall, I think James Cameron's love for Pandora is great, but he needs to focus on telling new stories instead of relying on old tropes 😊. I hope he takes a break and comes back with something fresh... we're all waiting! 👀
