The cover-up by both governments is sickening - like they're more concerned with maintaining that special bond than seeing justice served.It's also crazy to think about how many people have lost their lives or had their voices silenced because of it. Shireen was just a journalist trying to do her job, and now she's gone. The parallels with Anas al-Sharif's murder are heartbreaking - same MO, different day. It's like Israel's got this twisted logic that they can get away with anything as long as the US is on their side.
The thing is, we need more docs like this to keep pushing for accountability. Until then, Palestinians and other victims of state violence will continue to suffer in silence.
It's time for some real change, not just a bunch of lip service.
