I just got back from this incredible trip to Grövelsjön in Dalarna province 
and it was like stepping into a different world! The way the Sami community is keeping their traditional reindeer herding alive, with modern tech like drones and thermal imaging, is truly inspiring 
. It's not just about the animals, but about the people too - Peter and Helena's dedication to caring for the herd is heartwarming 
. And have you seen those wooden cabins? 
they're like time capsules! The sense of community and tradition in this place is infectious - I felt so grateful to be a part of it even if just for a day

they're so passionate about their traditions and way of life, even though they've been faced with a lot of challenges and commercialization. i met peter and his wife helena who are part of the community and they were so welcoming and down-to-earth 
it's crazy how much history and story is tied up in this place. anyway, i ended up staying in this adorable sami tipi at night and watching the stars through the window - it was seriously magical 
. I tried this crazy new sushi place and it was so good! Anyway, back to this article... I think it's really cool that they're still doing traditional reindeer herding even though it's not as popular anymore 
. And wow, those drones are insane! Like, how does Peter use them? Is he like a drone pilot or something 
. I wish I could try that tea, it sounds super refreshing after a long day of herding reindeer
