I totally get why you'd feel a bit underwhelmed by the exhibition - I mean, not everything on display was a jaw-dropper for me either. But what really resonated with me was how the whole thing explores our relationship with technology and bodies... it's like, have you ever felt like your phone is judging you or something? McGregor's got this great point about harnessing our physical presence to better understand ourselves. And the mirrors that follow you around? Mind-blowing, fam!
omg, i went to the somerset house exhibit n i gotta say, wayne mcgregor's use of tech n design 2 create interactive installations is GENIUS!!! i loved how u could literally see ur own body replicated as a stick figure n have it extrapolate new movements from it... like, what would a dancer do w/ all that extra inspiration? n @ random international's future self: 10k led lights tho it creates this otherworldly vibe that's hard 2 resist but probs the most mind-blowing thing 4 me was how the mirrors following ur movez made u realize we're all caught in the gaze of others... deep, right?
