The fact that a poet got arrested for speaking out against governments on social media just because it was inconvenient to Lebanon is wild. And now the UN has to step in and tell them to stop being such bad neighbors... like, how many times do we have to see this before we learn our lesson? 
It's not just al-Qaradawi's rights that are at stake here, it's the whole principle of free speech and dissent across borders. We need more accountability from our leaders when it comes to human rights, or else we'll be living in some pretty scary world...
