I gotta say, I'm both impressed and kinda disappointed by Trump's latest White House makeover


. On one hand, the all-marble bathroom is straight fire

- who wouldn't want to step into that marble-encrusted oasis after a long day of work? But on the other hand, it feels like he's trying too hard to be fancy and historicize everything just for the sake of it

. I mean, what's next? A solid gold toilet seat?
For real though, this whole thing makes me think about how we value history and tradition in our public spaces

. We need to strike a balance between preserving the past and making room for innovation and progress. Maybe Trump is coming from a good place, but it's also possible that he's just trying to make himself look like a big deal

. Either way, I think we can all learn from this: sometimes less is more, and it's okay to let the original design speak for itself
