Threads is making it easier to hide replies you don't like

I think this is a cool move by Threads ๐Ÿค”. On one hand, having more control over who can comment on your posts makes total sense ๐Ÿ“. I mean, have you ever had someone leave a super annoying or off-topic comment? This new feature lets you keep that from blowing up in your face ๐Ÿ˜….

But at the same time, I'm worried about users being too selective with their replies ๐Ÿ‘€. Like, what if they only allow comments from friends and family to see? That might not be as great for having diverse conversations ๐Ÿค.

Still, I think this is a step in the right direction ๐Ÿ’ฏ. Maybe we'll even start seeing more nuanced discussions on Threads ๐Ÿ“Š. And who knows, maybe it'll lead to some new features that help address online safety concerns ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ

lol i mean, i get where Threads is coming from tho - we all need a break from those crazy comments ๐Ÿคฃ... but at the same time, can't we just mute them or something? i guess Reply Approvals is like that one aunt who's always trying to give you advice lol. either way, i'm excited to try it out and see how it goes ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ”ฅ. personally, i think filters are a great idea - it's like having your own personal newsstand for comments ๐Ÿ“ฐ๐Ÿ’ป. but seriously, online safety is super important, so i hope they do it in a way that still lets us have some real conversations ๐Ÿ’•. 150 million daily active users? that's wild! like, Threads needs to keep innovating to stay ahead of the game ๐Ÿ’ฅ

I think its kinda cool that Threads is giving users more control over what they see on their feeds ๐Ÿค”. I mean, who doesn't want to avoid some toxic comments or just not see responses from people they don't know well? But at the same time, there's a risk that this feature could be used to silence certain voices online โš ๏ธ. We need to make sure we're not curbing meaningful conversations just to avoid some drama ๐Ÿ’ฌ. Maybe Threads can implement some sort of moderation system to ensure Reply Approvals are used fairly? ๐Ÿคž

I think Threads is trying to do something positive with this new feature, Reply Approvals ๐Ÿค”. It's like a middle ground for users who want to have control over what they share online, but also don't want to limit the voices that can contribute to the conversation ๐Ÿ’ฌ. I get why some people are worried it might stifle discussion, but I think having more options and filters will actually make it easier for us to find quality conversations ๐Ÿ‘. Of course, there's always a balance to be struck between freedom of expression and online safety ๐Ÿšจ, but I think this new feature is a good start ๐Ÿ’ก.

I think its a good move, but we gotta consider the flip side too ๐Ÿค”. I mean, if people can just hide responses they don't want to deal with, it might not be as effective in building community on the platform. What if someone wants to have an open discussion, but others are already blocking each other's comments? It could create a situation where only certain perspectives get heard ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ. On one hand, I love the idea of more control over online conversations, but on the other, it feels like we're creating another layer of isolation ๐ŸŒ. Can't we just have a better algorithm to filter out trolls and spam? ๐Ÿšซ

omg i think its a good move by threads tho ๐Ÿค”...i mean, having more control over replies can be super helpful if u get some bad comments on ur post...but at the same time, u gotta wonder if it'll be too restrictive for some users...like what about when u wanna have a convo with someone and they dont want to share their thoughts? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ still trying to wrap my head around it all ๐Ÿ‘€
