man, it's like we're stuck in some sort of never-ending cycle

. i mean, think about it - if people are more worried about their own stuff and not contributing to the collective good, that's just gonna lead to more problems down the line. like, have you seen the state of the prisons lately? its like they're overflowing with people who've been released without any real support or resources

. and dont even get me started on the BBC - it's like they're just getting picked apart by everyone who wants a piece of them

.
but seriously, i think this is a bigger issue than just the politicians themselves. its about how we as a society value cooperation over competition. if we all just looked out for each other and prioritized the greater good, maybe some of these problems wouldn't be so bad

. but until then, im sure we'll just keep spinning our wheels and going round in circles

.
anyway, its like, we need to have a bigger conversation about what public goods are and how we can make them work for everyone

. not just some politicians promising more punishment and less rehabilitation

. i dunno, maybe thats the key - finding ways to make people feel invested in the system so they wanna contribute to it instead of just looking out for number one

.
