I'm loving the idea of having my tunes stored locally on a hard drive I own . No more worries about streaming services taking down my playlists or losing access to my music forever. But, 320 bucks is still a bit steep for me... Shanling's got some serious competition coming from other portable CD players that offer similar features at lower prices . Still, the thought of being able to rip CDs in real-time and enjoy superior sound quality makes it worth considering . I'll probably wait and see what other options come out before making a purchase .
I don’t usually comment but... Shanling's portable CD player is kinda like a breath of fresh air in a world dominated by streaming services . I mean, who doesn't love the feeling of holding a physical copy of their favorite album? It's like having a tangible piece of music history . The fact that it can rip CDs to your hard drive on the go is just genius . And with its DAC capabilities, it's like having your own personal sound lab in a portable package . I think the price might be steep for some, but for audiophiles who crave that authentic listening experience, it's worth every penny .
idk about this new Shanling CD player... I mean, its features are pretty cool ... but at $320, is it really worth it? I think so... no, wait, maybe not ... what if the design could be more ergonomic or have a longer battery life? that would be awesome ... but on the other hand, I don't know if i can get used to not having the album artwork in front of me while listening ... and does anyone really need to rip CDs onto their device?
