Serena Williams: American great eligible to return on 22 February

im not surprised that serena wills doesnt seem to wanna come back lol she was always one for taking control of her own destiny, and if she's felt like its time to hang up her racket for good, thats exactly what shes gonna do . i mean weve all been there with our own passions and pursuits, and it takes a lot of courage to know when to keep going vs when to walk away.

i think its also worth noting that wills has built this incredible brand and legacy outside of tennis too - she's a shero in the business world, a devoted mom and partner, and just an all-around inspiring person . so even if she does decide to focus on other things, shes still gonna be amazing at whatever she chooses to do.

anyway, i'm more excited for us fans who get to keep watching her torch in tennis, but regardless of what happens, serena wills forever be a legend and icon

OMG I'm so confused about Serena Williams coming back to tennis! Like, one day she says she's done and then the ITIA is all "hey you're eligible again" . It's like her mind is made up but we just don't know what it is yet . I get why fans are stoked, though - Serena Williams is literally a tennis goddess ! 23 Grand Slam singles titles? That's insane . We'll have to keep waiting and seeing if she decides to lace up her racket again . Either way, her legacy is solid - the GOAT title for a reason !
