A clip posted on social media showed an employee in Racing Bulls uniform, filming the celebrations with a mobile phone, making a repeatedly giving a thumbs-down gesture to people below before another team member stepped in and put their arm down to stop them.
The driver, who had secured his first win of the season, was seen smiling and celebrating in front of fans.
"We believe in celebrating great racing and showing respect to every driver, team and fan both on and off the track," a statement from Racing Bulls read.
