Nintendo announces its Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 sale: Switch 2 bundles, Switch game deals, accessories and more

Nintendo has announced its Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 sales, offering a mix of discounts on the Switch console, games, accessories, and more. While the actual deals may be limited for new console purchases, existing owners can find some savings.

For those looking to snag the Nintendo Switch 2, bundles with popular titles like Mario Kart World or Pokémon Legends: Z-A are still available at $499 each. Although these options are not as cheap as they could have been, buying a bundle does save customers around $70 compared to purchasing games individually.

In addition to console bundles, some select physical Switch games will be discounted during the sale. These include Princess Peach: Showtime!, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, with each one selling for $40. Other titles like Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo Switch Sports, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Splatoon 3 will be available for $30.

Beyond consoles and games, there are plenty of other great gift ideas for the Nintendo fan in your life. Engadget's Senior Reporter Sam Rutherford recently attended Nintendo's holiday showcase to see some of the coolest collectibles, clothing, plushies, and holiday decor that fans can look forward to during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Among these items, a Lego set featuring the iconic handheld console from the '90s is sure to delight. This Lego backpack looks like an actual toy bag for Kirby, while another beanie allows you to wear your favorite Nintendo character wherever you go.

Last but not least, a remastered look back at all the wonderful art from previous Metroid entries should make die-hard fans excited. With its release in early December, this title is just around the corner and promises to bring nostalgia back for fans of the beloved franchise.

Overall, Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 are shaping up to be great days for Nintendo enthusiasts, whether they're shopping for themselves or looking for gifts for others.

omg i was thinking of getting a new switch console but now that black friday is coming i dont think i want to spend that extra cash lol maybe ill just get some games instead tho i really need to play more of the legend of zelda series i've been meaning to try out echoes of wisdom for ages 🤔

i did see some cool merch online and im tempted to get a kirby plushie for my little bro he loves those games so much 🐰🎁 also, that lego set sounds like so much fun i might have to treat myself to it if i win the lottery lol

I'm so stoked about this sale 🤩! I've been a Switch owner since launch and I'm still hooked on Mario Kart World - buying the bundle was a no-brainer for me. The discounts on games are pretty sweet too, especially on some of my all-time faves like Super Mario Odyssey 🎮. And can we talk about those Lego goodies? That Kirby backpack is EVERYTHING 😂. If you're a fellow Switch fan or know someone who loves Nintendo, this sale is definitely worth checking out. Bring on the savings! 💸

I'm hyped for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but I gotta say, the discounts on Switch games are a bit underwhelming. Like, $40 for a game that's been out for ages? That's not exactly a thrill for die-hard fans who've been waiting for newer titles 🤔.

On the other hand, I'm loving the idea of bundles with popular titles – it's a great way to get started or add to your collection without breaking the bank. And let's be real, who doesn't want a Lego Nintendo Switch backpack or some exclusive collectibles? 😂

The remastered Metroid art looks amazing, though – that's definitely something I'd pick up for myself (or as a gift). It's great to see Nintendo giving back to its fans with these kinds of releases.

Overall, it's shaping up to be a solid Black Friday and Cyber Monday for Nintendo enthusiasts. Just not sure if the discounts will live up to my expectations 🤑

ugh i dont get why they cant offer more discounts on new console purchases lol what a bummer. but at least existing owners can find some savings. like, $70 off a bundle is still $70 off, you know? 🤷‍♀️ anyway, the lego set featuring the nintendo switch is SO cool i need that in my life ASAP 👀 and the remastered metroid art sounds like it's gonna be so nostalgic for me and my friends who grew up playing those games back in the day 💕. but honestly, whats not to love about black friday and cyber monday? 🛍️💰

🎮 I'm so stoked about these Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals! I've been eyeing the Switch 2 for ages and now I might finally get it... bundles with games are a great idea too, saves me some cash 💸. But honestly, I think what I'm most excited about is those collectibles 🎁 - a Lego set of my childhood console would be an awesome addition to my gaming room! And can we talk about how cute those Nintendo character beanies are? 😂 Can't wait for the Metroid remastered game too, been waiting for that one for ages!

omg I'm so down for Black Friday & Cyber Monday this year! 💸🎮 I've been eyeing the Lego set that looks like a mini Switch console, it's so cute 🤣 and I need to get one for my little nephew who loves Nintendo too! 💕 Also, I'm really excited about the Metroid remastered game, I played the old ones as a kid and they're still so addictive 🎮👍. The discounts on Switch games are also super nice, I've been looking to get some new titles for my collection 😊. Can't wait to shop online and snag those sweet deals! 🛍️

I think its a great reminder that you don't need to break the bank to get what you want, especially if it's something you've been eyeing for a while. Those $70 savings might not seem like much now, but over time, they can add up and make all the difference in your wallet 😊.

It's also a good lesson in prioritizing needs over wants, and being smart about your spending. I mean, if you really want that Switch 2 or Kirby plushie, it's better to save up for it than to splurge on something that might not be as important. And let's not forget the value of nostalgia - those Metroid collectibles are gonna fly off the shelves! 🎮

Ugh, I'm so over these bundle deals 🙄... $499 for a console with some games? That's still pretty steep for my taste 😒. And don't even get me started on the physical game discounts - $40 for some of them is kinda meh 🤷‍♂️. Can't they just make more games available at a lower price point or something? 🤑

So its like, I'm not mad that Nintendo is giving us a deal, but some people might be wondering why they're not doing more on the console side. Like, $499 is still pretty pricey, especially when you can buy individual games for cheaper. But at the same time, its good to see them offering savings on existing owners' stuff. Its like, what does it say about our economy that we need discounts to feel like were getting a good deal? And have you noticed how they're always trying to get us to buy more merchandise? Like, who really wants a Lego backpack of Kirby's toy bag?

😊 so i think its cool that nintendo is offering some discounts on switch games and accessories but like $70 off a bundle? feels kinda steep tbh 🤑 also the lego set that looks like kirby's backpack would make an awesome gift for any nintendo fan, especially if you're into retro gaming 🎮 and i'm actually hyped for the metroid art book release in dec, can't wait to see what kind of behind-the-scenes content its got 💡

You know what's wild? I just saw this ad for a new coffee shop in my neighborhood that has these amazing little plants on the tables, and it makes me think about how much I love the Mario games... I mean, who doesn't want to be able to control Mario as he grows up and becomes an old guy like his dad? 🌱💻 Anyway, back to Nintendo... I'm kinda surprised they didn't have any crazy deals on some of the older Switch games, like Super Mario Odyssey. That game is still so much fun! 👍

.. I'm so stoked for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but at the same time... $499 is still a bit steep for the Switch 2, you know? 😐 I mean, if they're gonna offer discounts on bundles, can't we get some more sweet deals on individual consoles? That being said, I am low-key hyped for the Lego set – it's like something out of a dream! 🤩 And the remastered Metroid art collection? Mind. Blown. 👏 It's always exciting to see Nintendo bring back some of those classic games and make them shine again. But can we get a Switch 2 with more storage space, please?! 🙄

I think some people might've been expecting more substantial discounts on the Switch 2, especially since it's a relatively new console 🤔. Still, bundles with popular games like Mario Kart World and Pokémon Legends: Z-A are a good option if you want to get into those games ASAP 💸. And hey, saving $70 is always a plus, right? 👍
