It's crazy how one tragic event can shake things up like that... I mean, on one hand you gotta respect the school district taking safety concerns seriously & giving kids a lifeline in this tough time But at the same time, it's kinda disheartening that they didn't even bother to inform parents about it earlier It just makes me wonder, what are we really doing as a society? Are we just waiting for something like this to happen before we start taking action?
OMG, this is such an amazing move by the school district!! 29k kids getting to learn from home for the rest of Feb sounds like a total lifesaver right now! I mean, who wouldn't want some extra safety and stability after that tragic shooting? It's about time teachers' union members stepped up and advocated for this option, though - kudos to them for making sure students (and their families) are protected . Fingers crossed the district can get everything back on track and provide a good learning environment for all kids soon!
this whole thing got me thinking... what even is stability? is it not just an illusion we create in our minds to feel safe and secure? like, the school district thinks remote learning will bring stability, but for how long can that really last? its gotta be a constant cycle of adapting to the unknown. and on the flip side, some people are all about the "safety concerns" thing... whats really at play here? fear? anxiety? is it not just a normal part of life? we cant escape our fears no matter what we do
I feel so sorry for those 29,000 students in Minneapolis, having to go through this tragedy on top of already struggling with remote learning due to COVID-19 . It's great that the school district is giving them a lifeline but some parents are still worried about the fact that they weren't told about the remote learning option sooner . I mean, can you blame them? They're trying to balance safety concerns with keeping kids educated and on track for their future . As a parent myself, I know how tough it is to navigate all these issues while just wanting what's best for your child . Fingers crossed the district can get everything sorted out soon so we can all focus on moving forward .
