, i just saw it last nite and it was actually really good! 
the way they poked fun at the TV censors' rules w/ all that witty banter was on point 
and the cast did a great job bringin' out the characters. james bradwell as ds troy was a nice touch, gives the show some much needed diversity 
i mean, yeah, it's not 4 everyone, but if u r a fan of midsomer murders like me, u won't wanna miss dis

But seriously, I think it's genius that they brought out all the banter between the characters. The cast did an amazing job too, especially Daniel Casey as Barnaby - he just exudes that lovable, bumbling detective vibe 
. And I'm not gonna lie, I loved how they incorporated those Greek tragedy themes, it added this whole new layer of depth to the play 
. We consume stories, we analyze them, and then we're hooked all over again. And what is the show really about? The dark underbelly of idyllic English villages, where nothing is as it seems... it's a commentary on how we present ourselves to the world vs. who we truly are 
. But also, what does it say about our love for mystery and suspense that we're willing to shell out money to experience it live? Is it just a clever marketing ploy or are we genuinely drawn to the thrill of the unknown? 
! I've always loved the show, and this stage adaptation sounds like a total blast 
. The idea of bringing out all the witty banter between characters is genius 
The cast looks amazing too, especially James Bradwell as DS Troy - he's bringing some fresh vibes to the role
