I'm low-key concerned about FSD

... I mean, 10 billion miles? That's like, a million years of driving in real time

! I get that it needs data, but shouldn't we have seen some progress by now? It's like Musk is setting these crazy goals and then just adjusting them when things don't go as planned
And what's with the 'safe unsupervised self-driving' thing? Can't we just agree on a standard for safety before we start throwing around buzzwords?

Tesla's already got a lot of miles under its belt, but if they're saying it needs that much data to be considered safe... I'm not convinced
Maybe I'm just impatient, but as someone who loves the idea of autonomous driving, I want to see some real progress. We need to be able to trust these cars on our roads without worrying about them crashing

.
Here's a simple mind map to visualize the problem:
```
FSD
/ |
| |
| ---10 billion miles
| |
| --- Safety standards
| |
| --- Progress updates
```
This should give you an idea of how I see it: the progress is slow, and we need more transparency on what these companies are actually working towards
