Is Houston done with freezing temperatures this winter?

🌡️ I'm so done with these crazy temperature swings in Houston! One day it's freezing and sleet, the next it's like walking into a sauna. Like, what's up with our weather?! 🤯 But seriously, this is exactly why we need to keep an eye on our frost dates and be prepared for those unexpected late-season freezes. I'm so over planning my garden and outdoor activities around perfect weather, only to have the universe throw me a curveball like this. Frost can form at any time, even in warm spells! 🌱 Can't we just get consistent weather already? 😩

omg, houston is literally experiencing temperature whiplash 🤯! i feel like we're already past the point where 'winter' should be wrapping up and already dealing with 80s temps. anyway, it's cool that climatology is giving us some insight into what to expect - but can we just get a reliable forecast for once? frost in the 30s & 40s during warmer periods still freaks me out 🥶... and march 3rd as the last typical frost date? that's still kinda far away. fingers crossed houston stays frost-free, but also not too shocked if it happens unexpectedly 💨

Dude, I'm not buying it! All these record-breaking temps are just a tease, you know? The weather is like my grandma - all unpredictable and stuff. One minute it's freezin', the next it's scorcher hot. And don't even get me started on frost. Like, I know it can happen when temps are between 33-36 degrees, but how am I supposed to trust that forecast? It's just not that reliable, you feel?

And have you seen those predictions saying warmer weather is on its way until Feb 13th? That's like saying the apocalypse will be avoided 'cause of a decent snowflake. Just don't hold your breath, bro. The weather can change in an instant, and I'm all about being prepared for anything. Frost could still hit as late as April, so we're not out of the woods just yet 🤔
