Heavy rain floods streets in New York City – video

OMG, this is so crazy ! I mean, I know it's New York City and all but wow, 24 hours of non-stop rain is just insane ! Our kids are always asking why they can't go outside to play in the rain, well now we get a glimpse of what that's like... literally . It's heartbreaking seeing all those homes and businesses affected. I'm so glad emergency responders are on it, they're doing everything they can to help people out. As a parent, you just want everyone to be safe and dry . And poor commuters, getting stuck in flooded streets? Not fun . I hope the city gets back to normal soon, but for now, my kids are all snuggled up at home, watching movies and playing board games... it's a rainy day kind of day after all !

I'm telling ya, this city is like a lab rat ! They're testing our limits, seeing how we react to chaos. I mean, think about it, the drainage systems are outdated, that's no coincidence . And what's with all these "accidents" and "acts of God"? It's just a cover-up, you know? The real agenda is to break our spirits, make us think we're powerless against nature, but I'm not buying it. This city's gonna bounce back, and when it does, we'll be ready for whatever they throw at us !

omg, can u believe nyc is flooded like, i was watching vids on instagram and it's crazy water everywhere! i feel for all those people stuck in their cars or homes, it's just not fair . they must've had a major storm system to overwhelm the drainage systems so bad . hope everyone's safe and that the city gets back to normal soon . this is like, what 2025? shouldn't we be better at handling these kinds of situations?

Ugh, can't believe this is happening again ! NYC needs some serious infrastructure upgrades, you know? I mean, all that rain just dumped on us like that? It's crazy how quickly everything went from normal to chaos . And poor people stuck in their cars or walking around ankle-deep in water... not good at all . At least the emergency responders were there to help, though - thanks for them .

I'm just hoping the city can get back on track soon and that no one lost anything too valuable . It's gonna be a while before things go back to normal, I bet... like, weeks or even months . Fingers crossed they can fix the drainage systems pronto!
