I gotta disagree with this whole thing Newsom's got some major flaws, but it's not like he's some kinda sellout or anything. I mean, come on, the dude's trying to appeal to both sides and make a centrist case – it's a bold move, even if it doesn't always land well. And who says being "progressive" means alienating half the country? Maybe Newsom's just trying to find common ground with people who don't identify as Democrats .

And btw, what's with all the Trump comparisons? That T. rex analogy was a bit of a stretch, if you ask me . And let's be real, not everyone on far-right celeb podcasts is automatically bad news – maybe Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk can do some good in their own weird ways .

It's also kinda unfair to say Newsom's more concerned with corporate interests than marginalized communities . I mean, he has a track record of supporting progressive policies on issues like climate change and healthcare – that's not exactly the same as being beholden to billionaires . Let's give him some credit where credit is due .

I'm really disappointed in Gavin Newsom right now . I mean, I know he's got a lot of people who are still rooting for him, but come on, the dude is basically owned by billionaires . That billionaire tax thing was just a total cop-out and it shows where his priorities lie. And don't even get me started on that speech in Davos – trying to compare himself to Trump? that's rich.

And what's up with this whole "centrist" vibe he's got going on? I mean, if you're gonna try to be moderate, at least have the guts to stand up for something. Instead, Newsom is just phoning it in and trying to appease everyone but actually doing anything meaningful .

The thing that really gets me is that people are trying to spin him as some kind of unifying figure or whatever. Like, no thanks – his policies have been super divisive and he's shown time and time again that he's more interested in making friends with the right-wing crowd than actually fighting for justice .

Newsom needs to get a grip and start standing up for what really matters here. If not, I don't think I can support him anymore .
