I don't buy that "we're not a parasite" excuse. It sounds like corporate doublespeak to me. If they're really committed to making things right, they should be willing to put a number on it and commit to paying up. 500m is a pretty vague figure when you think about it - what does that even cover? The victims' suffering? The cost of legal fees? I need some actual numbers and sources to back up this claim. Until then, I'm going to remain highly skeptical of Fujitsu's motives 
honestly feel bad for the subpostmasters who went thru that ordeal it's been 2 yrs and still no clear answers...Patterson's response is just evasive, it's like he's tryna avoid takin responsibility

... I guess what I'm trying to say is that Fujitsu needs to step up and give those people some real compensation, but on the other hand, I don't think they're entirely innocent either . Maybe they didn't intentionally try to ruin lives, but still, £1.32bn for 10,000 claimants? That's just a drop in the bucket
