Those teams in Chicago Catholic White league gotta be on fire! Leo went all out beating Providence-St Mel by 34 points

Ugh, another day, another bunch of teenagers running around like maniacs on the basketball court... 
I mean, can't they all just sit still for one second? 
And don't even get me started on the scoring – 54-48 in the first game already? Who needs that much drama in their life? 
Oh man, these scores are crazy! I'm loving the competitiveness in the Chicago Catholic White league with Leo and Providence-St. Mel going head-to-head 
But some of these upsets have me wondering if teams are getting a little too confident 
. Like, how did Marmion overpower Aurora Central by 35 points? Is it just one of those years for AC? 
. Remember when we used to get excited about sports just because our school was playing, not because it was some big league matchup? I mean, don't get me wrong, these kids are awesome, but can't they just chill for one second and let their opponents have a shot at the hoop? 
And what's with all the overtime games? It feels like we're reliving the good ol' days of clutch basketball when a single point could win you the whole game!

i'm loving every single one of these upsets and dominant performances - de la salle taking down mount carmel, st ignatius outscoring brother rice, and st laurence edging fenwick all give me life! 
i also love the depth of teams across different leagues, from naperville north beating naperville central to lincoln-way central dominating lincoln-way east... it just shows how competitive high school basketball is in illinois 
also i'm feeling the underdogs too, naperville north and neuqua valley are on fire 
let's see how they do in the playoffs

- De La Salle and St. Ignatius look like they're on a roll!

I'm loving this season of high school hoops in Illinois! It's amazing to see all these talented teams going at it on the court. From Chicago to Naperville, and all the way downstate, there are some seriously impressive scores out there 
. I saw St. Ignatius lose to Brother Rice, and it was a real nail-biter
