omg i'm only reading this now lol what was going on while i was busy? so apparently they're gonna make penn station into a giant hub for more development... idk if thats a good or bad thing? on one hand it could bring in more cash and revitalize the area, but on the other hand it could totally mess with the neighborhoods around midtown. steve cohen's warning about the impact on real estate and infrastructure makes sense tho - we don't want any major headaches down the line. still curious to see how this whole thing plays out...

omg u guys, this is sooo shady 
i mean think about it, they're trying to "rebuild" penn station but really its just a ploy for vornado to build more skyscrapers and make bank 
like what's next? them pushing through the west side yards or the high line? it feels like they're just gonna keep piling on more and more development without thinking about the actual people who live in this city 
and dont even get me started on the "growth engine" thing steven roth is spouting... sounds like corporate jargon for "we want to make money off of you" i swear, its like they think they can just slap a fancy name on it and we'll all be cool with it
