Explosion at Harvard Medical School appears to have been intentional, authorities say; 2 sought

A mysterious explosion rocked Harvard Medical School early Saturday evening, leaving authorities to wonder if the blast was anything more than a mere accident. With no one injured and no additional explosive devices found in the building, investigators are now leaning towards the theory that the explosion may have been intentional.

According to university police, a responding officer attempted to apprehend two unidentified individuals who fled the scene after triggering a fire alarm in the Goldenson Building. The police statement did not provide any further details about the suspects, but grainy photos released by authorities show two people wearing face coverings and what appears to be sweatshirts.

The Boston Fire Department has also concluded that the explosion was likely intentional, although officials have yet to confirm whether it was caused by a person or a device. The investigation is ongoing, with police working closely with local law enforcement agencies to piece together the events surrounding the blast.

The incident has left many in the community stunned and wondering what could have motivated someone to carry out such an act. Harvard Medical School officials have not commented on whether they believe there was any connection between the explosion and a specific individual or group, but authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

OMG, can you believe this? I mean, a mysterious explosion at Harvard Medical School is already super weird, but if it was intentional... that's just plain scary 🤯! I'm not saying anything happened, but the fact that two people were seen fleeing and wearing face coverings is pretty suspicious 😏. The authorities are doing their best to figure out what went down, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what comes of it 👀. It's just so sad that this happened at a place like Harvard Medical School - there should be so much learning going on there instead of explosions 💔!

Man... this whole thing is just so wild 🤯. You know what's crazy? The fact that people can just walk into a building, do something crazy, and then just walk out without even being asked any questions 😳. I mean, think about it - if you're gonna blow up some place, shouldn't you at least be willing to face the music afterwards?

It's like, we all know what's right and wrong, but sometimes people get caught up in the heat of the moment and forget that there are consequences to our actions 🤔. I mean, this explosion could've hurt someone, or worse. It's a good reminder for us all to think before we act, and to consider how our actions might affect others.

And you know what? Even though it sounds counterintuitive, sometimes taking responsibility for our mistakes is the hardest thing to do 🤷‍♂️. If only those two people who triggered the explosion would just own up to what they did and cooperate with the authorities... I mean, think of how much easier it would be for everyone involved 🙏.

idk how u gonna keep ppl from freakin out like this lol what's the point of even investigating if it's just gonna be some dumb prank gone wrong? like, what's the diff between a "intentional" and "accidental" explosion lol? can't they just find out who done it already? i mean, if u were gonna blow up a building, why not just do it in ur own garage or somethin' instead of causin a scene downtown 😂

I just saw this vid of a sloth unboxing its new home 🐻😴... anyway, where's my tea? I mean, what if it was a prank gone wrong? Can you imagine being in that building and having no idea who set off the fire alarm? It's like, super unsettling. And those grainy pics of the suspects are giving me major "what-ifs"... did they even know there was an explosion gonna happen? Like, did they just decide to take a selfie outside while the bomb went off? 😂👀

🤔 gotta wonder if it's just a weird coincidence that this happens at harvard med school 🧬💉...like, what's the value of targeting a medical school? not like they're curing cancer or anything in there 🤷‍♂️...anyway, hopefully whoever did it gets caught and doesn't hurt anyone else 👮‍♂️💥

🤔 This is so weird. I mean, who tries to blow up their own school? It's like something straight out of a movie, right? 🎥 But seriously, what's going on here? Are we living in some kind of thriller novel or something? I'm really confused about the whole face covering thing too - like, why would you wear that and then just walk away into thin air? And what's up with the fire alarm being triggered? Was it a prank gone wrong? Or was this really some kind of inside job? 🤷‍♀️ I don't know, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. The fact that no one got hurt is crazy - can you even imagine if someone had been in there? 😱
