Eagles-Packers Week 10 inactives, with analysis

The Philadelphia Eagles have bolstered their roster with several key players returning from injury, unretirement, and trade during the bye week. However, only one starter will be inactive when they face the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

Inactives:

* Cam Jurgens (OLB) - The Eagles are optimistic that Jurgens' knee injury is not long-term, but he has been ruled out due to precautionary measures.
* Ty Robinson (DL) - With only four active interior defensive linemen, the Eagles will have to rely on other players to fill the void left by Robinson.
* A.J. Dillon (RB) - The running back will be inactive as the Packers aim to contain Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby in their backfield.
* Jaire Alexander (CB) - Alexander has been a regular inactive this season, raising concerns about his prospects for contributing positively going forward.
* Mac McWilliams (CB) - McWilliams has struggled to find his footing as a cornerback, making him an unlikely starter for the game.

Other notable players on injured reserve include Jakorian Bennett (IR), Johnny Wilson (IR), Ogbo Okoronkwo (IR), Ben VanSumeren (IR), and Charley Hughlett (IR).

The Packers have made their own share of inactivities for Week 10. Noteworthy scratches include Hobbs, who signed a four-year contract worth $48 million this offseason, Van Ness, the 13th overall pick in 2023, and Golden, the Packers' first-round pick in 2025.

Injuries and IR list:

* Tucker Kraft (TE) - The Packers' star tight end has been ruled out for the season after tearing his ACL during Week 9.
* Jayden Reed (WR) - Reed is eligible to return from injury at any time, but it's unlikely he'll play in Week 10 due to concurrent surgeries on a broken clavicle and a Jones fracture in his foot.
* Brenton Cox (EDGE) - Cox is a backup edge defender who has been out with a groin injury for several weeks.
* Nick Niemann (LB) - The Packers' special teams stalwart suffered a pectoral injury Week 8 and will be eligible to return after Week 12.

Omg I'm so confused about football 🤔... like, what's the deal with all these players getting hurt or retired or something? And why do they gotta sit out when there are other people who can play their spot? 🤷‍♂️ Like, I get it if someone has a long-term injury but this is Week 10 and stuff 🕰️... and btw have you seen those new sneakers the Packers' Hobbs signed for like $48 million?! 💸 That's insane 😲

omg u guys i cant believe its week 10 already 🤯 the phila eagles are lookin good w/ most of their key players comin back from injury & trade 🙌 but we gotta keep an eye on cam jurgens he was ruled out cuz his knee is still whack 💔 and it looks like ty robinson wont be playin either 😞 the packers r goin to crush them tho 👊 i mean who needs robinson w/ a.j. dillon on their team 🤣

You know how these NFL bye weeks can be super weird... the Eagles just brought back so many key players, but it's like they're being super cautious. I mean, Cam Jurgens has already been dealing with a knee injury, and now he's out again 🤕. And Ty Robinson's DL spot is going to be a big hole for them. On the other hand, it'll be interesting to see how Green Bay packs their defense without that star tight end Tucker Kraft - I mean, who else are they gonna rely on? It feels like this game is gonna be super competitive...

I'm not sure about the Eagles' strategy, starting A.J. Dillon over Saquon Barkley... 🤔 I mean, Barkley's been on fire this season and Bigsby's been a solid backup. But hey, it's not like the Packers are gonna make it easy for them with Jaire Alexander inactive again 😒. The injuries just keep piling up on both teams - it's crazy how quickly things can change in an NFL game 🏈. Maybe they'll get lucky and Cam Jurgens' knee injury doesn't linger too long... but probably not 🤷‍♂️.

The Philadelphia Eagles are gearing up for an intense matchup against the Green Bay Packers, but it seems like they're not getting the full squad they had hoped for 🤔. The inactivation of Cam Jurgens, Ty Robinson, and A.J. Dillon is a significant blow to their defensive unit, particularly with the latter two playing crucial roles in the interior defensive line. On the other hand, the Packers are also dealing with some injuries of their own, including Tucker Kraft's season-ending ACL tear. It'll be interesting to see how both teams adapt to these changes and make the most of the available talent 🏈.

Ugh 🤦‍♂️, can't believe the Eagles are messing up their lineup again 😩. They gotta know how much Cam Jurgens means to them, but I guess they're being too cautious 😕. And what's with A.J. Dillon being inactive? He's one of the top RBs in the league 🤯. Maybe they should've traded for him instead of getting Ty Robinson 🤷‍♂️. And don't even get me started on Jaire Alexander being a regular inactive... it's like they're giving up already 😔. The Packers have some good news, though - Hobbs just signed and Van Ness is back from injury 💪. Maybe this game will be more competitive than I thought 🤞.
