Deco serves up French fine dining and an Italian scratch kitchen at these SoFlo spots - WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports | Fort Lauderdale

In Miami's culinary scene, a new duo of dining spots is serving up top-notch talent. Deco's flagship restaurant, Claudie, embodies French fine dining at its finest, while its sister location, Antonino's Pizza & Pasta, brings an Italian scratch kitchen to the table.

At Claudie, located in Midtown, patrons can indulge in dishes that exude the attention to detail characteristic of southern France. According to Michael de Carvalho, chef and owner, "Everybody in the south of France likes to eat, likes to share a meal." The menu features grilled whole fish served tableside, ensuring diners only enjoy the best parts, as well as pastas with caviar and famous snails that are sure to spark conversation.

The restaurant's cocktail menu is also an art form, each drink inspired by a specific artist. For instance, the Eau de Coco is named after Saint-Tropez City and pays homage to Coco Chanel.

Guests rave about Claudie, praising its exceptional service and ambiance. "The vibe is amazing," one patron exclaims. "The service is amazing. Claudie is one of my favorite spots in Miami."

In contrast, Antonino's Pizza & Pasta, a 65-year-old Hollywood institution, has taken on a new persona with the addition of a scratch kitchen. Owner Hector Cruz explains that his restaurant is like a homey gathering place, where customers feel welcome and at ease. The menu features everything from classic chicken wings to creative pasta dishes and – most notably – pizza art.

Cruz shares that his team can turn any logo or character into a pizza, creating unique masterpieces for customers. "Everything here is fresh," he assures diners. "If you like good food and homemade, made-to-order scratch food, this is the place to come because we do it with extra love."

Guests are equally impressed with Antonino's offerings, particularly its signature sesame seed crust on pizza dough. The restaurant has even taken on a custom order – creating a Deco Drive-inspired pizza in honor of its new partnership.

With Claudie and Antonino's Pizza & Pasta leading the charge, Miami's culinary scene is poised for greatness. Whether you're in the mood for fine dining or artisanal Italian cuisine, these two spots are sure to satisfy your cravings.

🤔 I think what's really cool about these two spots is how they're bringing different vibes to the table. Claudie's got this super fancy French feel that's just so Instagrammable 📸, but Antonino's has a more laid-back, homemade energy that's just so welcoming. And the fact that they're both serving up top-notch food and drinks is just a bonus. I mean, who doesn't love a good caviar pasta dish or a slice of pizza art? 😂 What I think really stands out to me, though, is how these two spots are collaborating with each other - it's like Miami's culinary scene is finally getting the recognition it deserves. The fact that Claudie and Antonino's can both coexist in the same city without trying to one-up each other is just a win in my book. 🙌

I'm loving the vibe at Deco's new spots - Claudie and Antonino's! 🤩 They're bringing some serious international flair to Miami's culinary scene. I mean, who wouldn't want to dine like they're in southern France? 😍 Claudie's attention to detail is on point, from the grilled whole fish served tableside to those famous snails. And that cocktail menu? Genius! 🍸

And then there's Antonino's, which is taking Italian food to a whole new level with their scratch kitchen. I love how they're not afraid to get creative with pizza art - who knew logos could be turned into pizzas?! 🎨 It's like they say, when it comes to good food, homemade is always the best way to go.

It's exciting to see these two spots leading the charge in Miami's culinary scene. Whether you're in the mood for fine dining or a cozy Italian gathering spot, Claudie and Antonino's have got you covered. Let's keep supporting local businesses like these - they're truly helping to put our city on the food map! 📍

omg i just got a new phone 📱 and i'm still trying to figure out how to use it lol 😂 anyway, what's with this food scene in Miami? i mean, french fine dining sounds fancy but also kinda intimidating 🤔 does anyone know if they take reservations at claudie or is it like a first come first serve thing? 💁‍♀️ and what's up with antonino's pizza & pasta having a scratch kitchen? can you even get that kind of food in miami usually? 🍝👀

I gotta say, I'm loving this new vibe in Miami's food scene 🤩! Claudie and Antonino's Pizza & Pasta are killing it with their unique concepts - from French fine dining to scratch kitchen Italian vibes 🍝🇫🇷. But what really gets me is how these spots are all about sharing a meal and creating memories, you feel? It's not just about the food (although, let's be real, the caviar pasta at Claudie is TO DIE FOR 💥). I love that they're both giving their customers an experience, not just a plate of food 🤝. And those cocktail menus? Genius! Who wouldn't want to sip on a drink inspired by Coco Chanel 😊?

Ugh 🤔 I'm not gonna lie, this whole "Miami's got a new food scene" thing feels like just another example of the city's overpriced, pretentious vibes. Like, yeah, we've got fancy restaurants now, but what about the rest of us who can't afford those $50 burgers? 🍔 And don't even get me started on Antonino's trying to pass off their pizza as "art". Newsflash: it's just a bunch of dough and toppings 🤷‍♂️. But hey, if you're into that sorta thing, I guess Claudie's fancy menu might be right up your alley 🍽️. At least they're being honest about the whole "tableside service" thing... even if it's just a fancy way of saying "we're gonna charge you more for the scraps we don't want to serve". 😒

omg I'm so down for trying out Claudies menu tho that caviar pasta sounds like a game changer 🤩🍝 and Antoninos scratch kitchen is giving me major food coma vibes 😴👌 I love how they're putting love into every pizza they make, that's the kinda vibe I can get behind 💕

🤔 I think it's awesome how both restaurants bring their own unique vibes to the table. Claudie's French fine dining experience is super fancy and Instagram-worthy 📸, but at the same time, Antonino's Pizza & Pasta has this cozy, homey feel that makes you wanna linger over a slice (or three). The scratch kitchen concept at Antonino's is also really cool - it's like getting a personalized meal tailored just for you. I'm curious to try out their Deco Drive-inspired pizza now 😊!

omg u guys i just tried both of these restaurants in miami and they r literally INSANE!!! 👀 Claudie is like a french dream come true, everything is so fancy n impeccable service top notch! 🤩 but Antonino's Pizza & Pasta is where it's at for me, their scratch kitchen has been revamped n its like a home away from home vibe u can feel the love they put into every dish 😍 that sesame seed crust on pizza dough tho is TO DIE FOR!!! 💀 i mean we r in miami now and these two spots are leading the culinary scene, gotta keep it real n try them out ASAP!!! 🚨👌

I'm so stoked about these new restaurants popping up in Miami! Claudie's attention to detail and French flair is giving me major food envy 😍. I mean, who doesn't love a good caviar pasta? 🤤 But what really impresses me is Antonino's commitment to scratch kitchen quality. There's something so satisfying about knowing you're getting a fresh, homemade meal made with love ❤️. The fact that they can turn logos into pizza art is genius too! I need to try that sesame seed crust on their pizza ASAP 🍕. Miami's culinary scene is truly heating up and I'm here for it 🔥.

OMG 🤯, I think the real MVP here is the attention to detail at Claudie! Like, seriously, a restaurant that serves whole fish tableside? That's just genius 💡. And don't even get me started on the cocktail menu - an art form?! 😲 Each drink is inspired by an artist? Who comes up with this stuff?! 🤓

And Antonino's is low-key amazing too! I mean, who wouldn't want a pizza made from scratch, just for them? 🍕 It's like having your own personal chef (well, kind of). The sesame seed crust on the dough is a game-changer - it adds this whole new level of flavor and texture to the pizza. Genius move, Hector Cruz! 👏
