I gotta correct ya, 4.8 million deaths among kids under five? That's actually an increase from last year, not a record high. It was 4.6 million the previous year, but this year it went up to 4.7 million (not 4.8). Still super tragic and stuff

It's like, we know all this already, but to see it on paper is just devastating. I mean, Bill Gates is right, aid budgets are crucial and cuts to USAID can have such a massive impact. But you know what? I'm holding out hope for those innovation-driven AI solutions he mentioned
