can you believe that insurance companies have to charge people more just because they got divorced or became a widow widower?!
i mean what's the logic behind increasing premiums when someone's partner passes away? nothing has changed in their circumstances!
it's like, shouldn't we be prioritizing people who are going through one of the toughest times in life and not making things harder for them?
even if insurers say it's based on risk appetite or whatever, it sounds like just a fancy way of saying "we can charge what we want"
