I'm so relieved that Yellow 2120 has finally vacated the premises 
! I can only imagine how stressful and worrying it must have been for Ken Johnson and his family, dealing with a massive 550-pound bear living under their house for over a month 
. The whole situation sounds like something out of a movie – I mean, who expects to find a bear in their crawlspace?! 
From what I've read, it's understandable that the Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) tried to humanely coax Yellow 2120 out using trapping methods, but unfortunately, they ended up catching another unwanted bear instead
. It just goes to show how unpredictable wildlife behavior can be.
Now that the bear is gone, I do hope Ken Johnson takes this opportunity to secure his crawlspace properly to prevent any future unwanted guests
. Safety should always come first, and it's great that CDFW officials are acknowledging their role in helping with bear-related issues while also respecting homeowners' rights to protect their property

. But at the same time, I get why Ken was worried about his safety and the potential damage to his home

I mean, I get it, bears are amazing creatures and all, but come on, 550 pounds of furry and claws under your floor? That's like having a small house guest who just won't leave... 
And poor Ken Johnson was literally losing sleep over the whole thing! On one hand, I'm glad the bear is out and about exploring again
