Atascocita honors retiring football coach and Astros star at spring pep rally

🤣 I mean, who doesn't love a good ol' fashioned pep rally to celebrate some dude's career? I'm sure it was super exciting for everyone except maybe the parents of the athletes who didn't make it to the NFL 🙄. But seriously, congrats to Coach Stump and Brice Matthews on their achievements! 37 years is no joke, dude! And it's awesome that they're being honored like this – I'm sure it was a real thrill for them to have their jerseys retired 😎. Matthews seems like a cool cat too, who wouldn't want to see his jersey up there? 🤷‍♂️

I'm so stoked to hear that Coach Stump and Brice Matthews got such an amazing sendoff from their school! 🤩 It's totally awesome that they're being celebrated for all they've accomplished on and off the field. I mean, three players going on to play in the NFL is no joke! 😲 The fact that hundreds of players went on to play college ball shows just how much impact Coach Stump had on their lives. And can you imagine having your jersey number retired by the team you love playing for? 🙌 That's like, a total dream come true for Brice Matthews, and I'm not surprised he's so overwhelmed with emotion right now. It's moments like these that really make you appreciate the power of sports to bring people together and create lifelong memories! ❤️

Man 😊, it's crazy to think about all those athletes who came through that school and went on to do big things in sports and beyond 🤯. I mean, three of them actually made it to the NFL? That's insane! And hundreds played college ball too, that's like a whole team's worth of talent right there 💪.

I love how Coach Stump is still so humble about all he's achieved, it just goes to show that he really does care about his players and wants to see them succeed. And Brice Matthews, what an amazing story, going from being a dual-sport athlete to playing in the MLB 🎟️. It's not every day you hear about someone making their dreams come true like that. The fact that they're honoring his jersey number is just so cool, it's like he never left AHS 😊.
