Amadeus returns: can Sky's miniseries attract a new generation to Mozart?

OMG, I'm low-key obsessed with this new series, fam 🤩! It's like, can't wait to dive into Amadeus and get my Mozart fix 💖! Will Sharpe as Mozart? 🤯 Paul Bettany as Salieri? Slay! 🙌 The music director Benjamin Holder is giving me all the feels, hoping we'll be introduced to more of Mozart's magic ✨. Short-form content for classical music? Genius move, imo 🔥 Can't wait to see how it goes down, especially with episode 5 featuring that iconic Queen of the Night aria 🎶👀

omg i am so stoked for this new amadeus miniseries!!! 🤩 it's going to be epic! will sharpe is literally my dream cast as mozart and paul bettany is perfect as salieri i mean who else could pull off that complex character? 😂 benjamin holder's idea of incorporating short-form music content is genius, i can already imagine myself binge-watching the entire thing and learning so much about mozart's life and music 🎵📺 the queen of the night's aria in episode 5 is going to give me CHILLS 💥

I don't know if this new miniseries will do Mozart's music any favors... I mean, have you seen how short-form content works on streaming services? It feels like everything becomes a quick bite, not a deep dive into the art form. Will Sharpe as Mozart is gonna be cool, I guess, but what about the actual music? Is it just gonna be some watered-down version of Mozart's work to make it sound appealing to new listeners? 115 works in five episodes sounds like a lot of lip service if you ask me 🤔. And what's up with including contemporary folk music from Turkey and Hungary? Doesn't that dilute the historical vibe of the show? I'm not convinced this miniseries will introduce Mozart's music to new audiences in a meaningful way...
