it's so messed up that australia is deporting ppl to nauru without any real transparency or accountability... like what even happens to them once they get there? and the fact that they're stuck in indefinite detention with no access to justice or proper healthcare is just heartbreaking... shouldn't australia be doing better by its own citizens, let alone ppl fleeing war and persecution?
this whole thing is so messed up, you know? australia's just gonna ship these guys off to nauru without even knowing what they'd be getting themselves into. it's like, how can that be fair? and the part about the deal being worth $2.5 billion just sounds like a bunch of politicians making money off people's suffering... no wonder human rights advocates are so upset, it's a total disregard for human life
just think about it, we're living in a world where ppl are being 'dealt' like they r cards, no regard 4 their humanity australia's got a $2.5b deal with nauru, sounds like a sweet deal 4 them, but what r the human costs? ppl r stuck in indefinite detention, denied justice & proper healthcare it's not just about avoiding accountability, its about erasing ppl's identities, their experiences, their humanity
