Ugh, can't a city even celebrate a good year without turning into a horror movie?
Two innocent people killed in hit-and-runs just goes to show that some drivers are more concerned with getting from point A to point B than actual human lives. It's like, we've been talking about Vision Zero for years and it's only now that the real world starts to kick in. 19% decline in traffic fatalities is great, but pedestrian deaths are still up. What's the plan, double down on awareness campaigns or actually make the roads safer?
