.. this is just heartbreaking 
. An 8-year-old child's life is never going to be the same after something like this happens. The thought of that driver getting confused by new traffic patterns and not being able to handle it... it's just a tragedy. I hope they're doing everything they can to support the family and get answers about what really happened. It's also crazy to think about how fast things have changed around here - I remember when I was in school, it didn't even sound like the roads were going to be all revamped like this

a kid just died in a car crash on a construction site lol what were they even thinking? didn't they see the cones or something? i mean i know people get distracted, but come on 8 is way too young to be goin out like that 
just heartbreaking to think that a little kid's life was cut short like that... accidents can happen anywhere and it's always devastating for families & communities. hope the investigation finds out what really happened so we can prevent such tragedies in the future 
And to think there were barrels everywhere blocking the barricade... how could that not be enough to slow people down?! 
This whole thing just feels so avoidable and preventable, you know?
