Rode has a better way to connect your tiny wireless mics to your digital camera

Rode Has Been Working on a Better Wireless Micro Solution for Digital Camera Users. Here’s What They’ve Got So Far.

In an effort to improve the connectivity between tiny wireless mics and digital cameras, Rode is now launching its latest version of its wireless microphone receiver as part of a new $149 kit. This new receiver comes with some welcome upgrades that make it more user-friendly and reliable than before.

One of the standout features of this updated receiver is its 1.1-inch OLED screen, which provides users with valuable information about battery life, signal strength, and device connectivity in real-time. The screen also has three intuitive buttons for navigating settings such as gain assist levels, but to keep things simple, the receiver can automatically make adjustments to suppress volume spikes and ensure balanced audio coming into the camera.

This new wireless camera kit is available now and includes everything needed to get started with Rode’s Wireless Micro system, including two tiny lavalier mics that pair wirelessly with a small receiver connected to your phone's charging port. There are also additional wireless receivers for mobile devices using USB-C or Lightning ports included in the bundle.

This latest update may seem like an incremental step at first glance, but it represents some important improvements in terms of user experience and reliability. So what does this mean for those looking for a reliable way to capture high-quality audio with their digital cameras?

omg u gotta check out rode's new wireless mic receiver 🤯 they finally added an OLED screen on the thing which is SO clutch, it shows you battery life, signal strength and all that jazz in real time. i mean its not like its revolutionary tech or anything but its just so simple and intuitive now. and the auto-adjustment feature for volume spikes? game changer 🙌. they're also including extra wireless receivers for mobile devices which is sick cuz now u can use this thing with ur phone without having to carry around a separate receiver. i'm lowkey surprised they didn't add anything more groundbreaking like, idk, a 5G upgrade lol. still, its a solid update and if ur into digital camera audio this could be the ticket

🤔 idk why they didnt include more receivers in the bundle tho, 2 lavalier mics and an additional one for mobile devices is pretty cool though, i'm actually thinking of getting this kit for my upcoming vlog stuff. the OLED screen sounds super useful, especially when it comes to checking battery life on set 📸💻

I'm loving the direction Rode is taking with their wireless mic solution 📸🎙️! The new OLED screen on the receiver is such a game-changer - it's like having all the info you need right there in front of you, no more digging around to adjust settings. And the automatic gain assist feature? Total lifesaver when you're trying to get that perfect shot 📸👍

I also appreciate how Rode has included those extra wireless receivers for mobile devices - it's like they're thinking about all the different ways we want to use our cameras, not just the traditional digital ones 🤖💻. It's these little details that make a big difference in terms of user experience, you know?

OMG u guys! 😍 I'm so stoked about Rode's new wireless mic receiver! 👂 The 1.1-inch OLED screen is, like, so cool! 📺 It shows you all the deets on battery life, signal strength, and connectivity in real-time, which is super helpful for those live streams or vlogs where u need to make sure everyting is running smoothly 💻. And, yay! 👍 The receiver has auto-adjust settings, which means u don't have to worry about volume spikes or anything 🙅‍♀️. Plus, the lavalier mics are tiny and pair wirelessly with the small receiver that plugs into ur phone's charging port 🔋 - it's like having a pro setup without breaking the bank 💸. I think this update is a major win for digital camera users! 👏

idk why its taking so long for companies to make wireless mics usable lol... anyway, i think the new receiver looks sick 🤩! that 1.1-inch OLED screen is a game changer, gotta love how simple it makes adjusting settings 😊. and gain assist levels? genius move by rode 👍. this kit seems like a no-brainer for vloggers & creators who wanna upgrade their audio game 💥. anyone else got the new wireless mic setup? 🤔

so rode's new wireless mic receiver looks pretty cool 📸 the 1.1-inch OLED screen is a nice touch, it makes it super easy to keep an eye on battery life and signal strength without having to dig around in menus all the time 💻 plus the automatic gain assist feature sounds like a lifesaver when you're trying to record audio in a loud environment 🎧

I'm so excited they finally figured out how to make wireless mics that don't totally suck 🤦‍♂️. I mean, who needs to deal with constant dropped connections and volume freakouts when you're trying to record a decent audio clip? The OLED screen is actually kinda nice, though - it's like having a tiny personal assistant for your mic setup 📱.

But seriously, $149 is a bit steep for what seems like an incremental update. I guess if you're into that whole "wireless mics" thing and don't mind paying a premium for 'em, then this might be the kit for you. The addition of mobile device adapters is nice, though - it's about time we had more options for capturing decent audio on-the-go 📸.

Still, I'm not sure if this is gonna revolutionize the world of digital camera audio just yet... but hey, a girl can dream, right? 💁‍♀️

idk about these wireless mics... 1.1-inch OLED screen is cool and all 🤔, but how reliable are they? i mean, its just a tiny mic that needs to sync with the camera every time it's not like it's gonna magically fix bad audio issues by itself. also $149 for a receiver is steep. shouldn't it be cheaper if it's "better" than before? 🤑

I'm so stoked about Rode's new wireless mic solution 🎧! I've been using it with my digital camera and let me tell you, it's been a game-changer. The screen on the receiver is super helpful in keeping an eye on battery life and signal strength. And the fact that it can make adjustments to balance out the audio coming into the camera is just genius 🤓. I was having some issues with volume spikes before, but this new feature has really helped iron that out.

I also love that there are now additional receivers for mobile devices, so you can use it with your phone or tablet if needed 📱. It's not exactly revolutionary, but these incremental updates make a big difference in the end. Now I'm able to focus on capturing the best audio possible without having to worry about the technical stuff. Overall, I think this is a fantastic upgrade and I'm excited to see what Rode has in store next 🤞

I'm so hyped about this new wireless mic receiver from Rode! 🎧 the OLED screen is such a game changer, it makes setting up and troubleshooting a breeze. I love that it's got automatic gain adjustments too, no more dealing with blown-out volume in the middle of a shoot 😅. And having three buttons for navigation is super convenient. Plus, the fact that you can use the receiver with your phone or other mobile devices is amazing! 📱 what's next from Rode? Some wireless lavalier mics with longer battery life would be awesome 🤞

🤔 I think its cool that Rode is putting out more tech to make wireless mics easier to use! I've had my eye on getting into podcasting and now it looks like I have a solid option. The OLED screen sounds super helpful for keeping an eye on battery life and signal strength - makes sense they'd wanna simplify the setup so you don't get lost in all the settings. Anyone else been using wireless mics with their camera?

I was at my friend's birthday party last month and he was doing a live stream on his phone using the Rode Wireless Micro system... or so I thought 😂 it kept dropping out all over the place! Turns out, they weren't using the right receiver for their iPhone. Anyway, this new kit from Rode has got me super excited - that OLED screen is a total game changer 📱 the ability to see everything in real-time must make such a huge difference to your audio capture experience... and I love how it automatically adjusts to suppress volume spikes! 👍
