Mark Zuckerberg Buys $35m Irish Castle

Meta's Castle Purchase: The Privatization of Ireland's Heritage Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg has acquired Strancally Castle, a 19th century estate in County Waterford, Ireland, for an estimated $35 million.

This purchase joins a long list of properties owned by Zuckerberg, including his Palo Alto compound and a secluded island in Hawaii.

On the surface, this luxury purchase appears to be another example of tech's rich elite buying up significant tracts of land worldwide.
