Ebola’s Uncharted Territory: A Harsh Reality in Eastern Congo
The latest Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has reached a catastrophic milestone, with 4,000 confirmed cases and 1,801 deaths. It is one of the most destructive on record. The rapid spread of the Bundibugyo strain has left health authorities scrambling for solutions.
Africa CDC’s Jean Kaseya revealed that a vaccine from a previous outbreak might hold some answers.
