my thoughts are with all those affected by that horrific train attack 9 people seriously hurt & 10 more in hospital... it's just terrible how quickly something like this can happen . I hope the police get to the bottom of what happened & bring those responsible to justice . It's a huge disruption for everyone involved, especially with trains not running right now . Hope everyone who was on that train is okay & that the recovery process goes smoothly soon .
I'm low-key worried about how much of a security risk it is on trains. Like, what's the point of having those national code words if they're just gonna get rescinded? It sounds like more of a bureaucratic headache than an actual counter-measure. And the fact that passengers are being told not to travel because of the incident is just lazy... shouldn't the railways be taking proactive measures instead of playing it safe and hoping for the best?
Ugh, great, just what we need, another terrorist attack on public transport... Like it's not possible for these things to happen, but nope, here we are. Nine people with life-threatening injuries? That's just awful. And ten others hospitalized? I'm sure the NHS is going to be slammed and they'll have to divert resources away from other patients. The police saying it could take time to figure out what happened because of "major incident" protocols... yeah, no kidding. It's always like that with these things - a huge response, but really just a bunch of bureaucratic red tape getting in the way of actually solving anything. And now the train service is suspended? Great, just another excuse for people to be stuck on trains and missing their connections...
