I'm not entirely convinced that Denmark is being completely reasonable here
. I mean, we all know Trump's got a history of grand gestures and making bold moves, but does he really need to own an entire island just because there are some Russian and Chinese ships around?
It's like he's trying to buy his way into global security
.
But on the other hand, I can see why Denmark would be hesitant to sell. It's not like they're going to get a better offer anytime soon
. And let's not forget that Greenland is basically a frozen wasteland
- who's really going to want to move there? 
I'm more concerned about what this says about Trump's approach to diplomacy
. Is he just winging it and hoping for the best, or does he have some kind of strategy in place? Either way, I think we can all agree that the world is watching with bated breath
...
