Trump sends letter to Israeli president asking him to pardon Netanyahu

I'm not sure why Trump is doing this ... I mean, he knows Netanyahu's in a tough spot and all but I think it's kinda weird that he's trying to stick his neck out like this . I get what he's saying about the corruption cases being politically motivated, but does that really excuse everything? I mean, Netanyahu's got some serious skeletons in his closet here... and what's with Trump calling him a "decisive War Time Prime Minister" - is that supposed to be some kind of super flattering title or something? Anyway, I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this all plays out .

man, trump's asking herzog to give netanyahu a free pass in all these corruption cases? that's some shady stuff . i mean, it's one thing to be a good friend and support someone who's fighting for israel, but another thing entirely to try and influence the justice system like that. Netanyahu's denying any wrongdoing, but trump is basically saying the cases are fake news and being pursued by " political enemies". that's not how pardons work, bruh . it's always interesting to see politicians trying to use their power for personal gain or to help out their buddies...anyway, herzog's gotta follow procedure here, but still gonna be super interesting to watch what happens next

I'm not entirely sold on this one... I mean, Trump is always good at playing the victim card, but come on, Netanyahu's got some serious skeletons in his closet . It's true that the corruption cases against him seem like they might be politically motivated, but let's not just take Trump's word for it . The fact that Netanyahu himself has denied any wrongdoing and is still denying everything under oath doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

And what about all those lavish gifts from billionaires? That's some serious red flag waving . And as for the media outlets, yeah, it's a little too convenient that they're suddenly aligned against him . But, I guess we should give Herzog the benefit of the doubt and follow established procedures... but still, this whole thing feels like a big ol' mess .

omg did u no trump is asking Herzog 2 pardon netanyahu its like he's trying 2 change the rules mid game lol i mean who else does that?? Trump claims they're politically motivated but honestly its hard 2 believe ppl wud do dat 4 Netanyahu he's been in some shady situations tho but Trump still thinks he's a hero what about all those allegations of bribery and media manipulation??
