I gotta say, this movie "Trapped" is like the cinematic embodiment of my anxiety lol It's intense, but you can tell they're trying to make a point about trauma and abuse. I love how it's not all glossy and polished, some scenes feel super rough around the edges, but that's kinda what makes it real, you know? The script is definitely cheesy in some places, but at the same time, there are moments when you're like "wow, this is just how it goes down". I think the filmmakers did a good job of capturing the messy, brutal nature of these situations. It's not an easy watch, but if it makes people talk about abuse and trauma in a more serious way, then that's gotta count for something
I gotta say, watching this film was like witnessing a train wreck in slow motion . It's rough around the edges, but you can see the heart beating beneath all that grit and grime . The message about trauma bonds is so important - it's not always easy to watch, but it's real life, you know? My takeaway is that sometimes we need to confront our demons head-on, even if it means facing some uncomfortable truths .
