omg dont @ me but i think refs need to step up their game with those eye pokes 🤯👀 especially after tom aspinall's fight 😒[gif of a person being poked in the eye] referees should be more proactive like "dude, thats an eye poke, you're gettin deducted" 📉👊
 
🤔 I'm not surprised really. The UFC's rules are clear on punishments for eye pokes but when you put it into practice, things get messy. It's like they're hoping the issue goes away or that fighters will just stop doing it to avoid the deduction. Newsflash: it doesn't work that way 😒. If you want to see real action, referees need to step up and enforce those point deductions more consistently. It's not rocket science! 👊 The fact that Herb Dean is speaking out about this suggests there's a bigger issue at play here... 🤝
