Liverpool's attacking coach Arne Slot has been stung by criticism that his team's style of play is dull, with some labelling them as boring. However, he admits being unable to fully disagree with the assessment, albeit using different words.

Slot acknowledges that Liverpool have struggled to create an abundance of scoring opportunities, a problem shared by many teams in recent times. This does not sit well with him, who values his team's attacking prowess and would prefer to see more attractive football on display.

The manager believes his team has been working hard to improve their attacking play, but admits that they have yet to find the right solution against opponents employing unattractive tactics. ToSlot's credit, he is committed to evolving his team's style of play in order to remain competitive.

There is currently no indication that Liverpool are planning a new bid for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guéhi or Harvey Elliott, who was loaned out to Aston Villa earlier this season.
