Scientists Wanted to Know How Many Squid Pilot Whales Eat Each Day. What They Found Was Astounding

Whoa 🤯 416 million squid per year is wild! I mean, can you even imagine swimming around with that many tentacles chasing you every day? 😂 It's crazy to think about how these whales just thrive on that diet and it actually doesn't seem to be hurting the squid populations. That's a pretty cool ecosystem 🌊. The fact that they had to change their study goal to figure out pilot whales' eating habits is just hilarious 😂, like "oh wait we found something way more interesting than false killer whales".

I mean... can you believe those pilot whales can chow down on 416 million squid per year? 🐳🐙 Like, that's insane! And I love how the scientists stumbled upon this by tracking false killer whales – it just goes to show that sometimes you gotta go off track to find something cool. I'm also kinda surprised that the squid population isn't tanking what with all those whales coming after them... maybe they're like the ultimate survivors or something? 🤯 Anyway, it's always rad to learn more about these creatures and their wild ways – who knew being a whale was so hungry?! 😂
