OMG , I'm so sorry Jessica Bond Ferguson, but like, shouldn't you've just called animal control or something? I get that she was freaked out and wanted to protect her kids, but did it really have to be a fatal shooting? It's all so... intense. And now the authorities are trying to figure out if those monkeys were actually contagious... I don't know, man. Can we just give Jessica some space while they investigate?
Can you believe this? I mean, I get it, a mom's instincts are there for a reason, but shooting at a wild animal that's not even harming anyone is just crazy talk. What if she had shot herself by mistake or something?! The fact that the monkey was 60 feet away and still managed to stand its ground kinda ruins her whole "protecting my kids" excuse . And now there are like, three more monkeys on the loose...this is getting out of hand. I hope Bond's kid isn't gonna have nightmares about this for years to come
I'm all for protecting kids but, like, this is a huge case... Jessica was literally 60 feet away and shot at the monkey twice? I get that she wanted to safeguard her kids, but did she really need to take matters into her own hands like that? It's crazy that there were three more monkeys still on the loose after she acted! I'm curious to see how this investigation plays out - was it justified or just a split-second panic? And btw, isn't that a huge red flag if they're carrying diseases and no one knew about it beforehand?
I'm so worried about this situation . I mean, I get it that you want to protect your kids, but think about what could've happened if she hadn't reacted like that! Those monkeys are wild animals and should be handled with care, not shot at randomly . And now there's a whole three more of them on the loose in the area? It's just crazy . What was her 16-year-old son thinking, telling his mom about the monkey in the first place? Shouldn't they have just called animal control or something instead of scaring each other half to death . And what about Bond's claim that the monkey stood its ground and fell afterwards? Does she even know what happened? I hope she cooperates with the investigation, but seriously, folks, let's think before we act
