A 20-year-old man was found dead at a Harris County apartment complex last September, and nearly two months later, investigators have identified a suspect in his murder. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, Troy Styles' body was discovered by his mother after she tracked her son's cellphone to the Standard at Champions apartment complex.
The sheriff's office initially reported that they were unsure if Styles was shot at the complex or if his body had been dumped there after being killed elsewhere, due to a lack of shell casings at the scene. However, with the recent arrest of 22-year-old Desean Roberts on unrelated forgery charges, authorities believe he may be connected to the fatal shooting.
Roberts is currently in jail on an unrelated forgery charge, and additional charges have been filed against him for Styles' murder. It was reported that the victim's mother had found his body after tracking her son's cellphone to the apartment complex, leading to a 911 call that ultimately resulted in Styles being pronounced dead on the scene.

his mom tracking his phone to find his body is just crazy 
anyway did you know that in 2024 the US had a total of 39,659 homicides with the majority being young people between 15-24 years old? 
it's crazy how violent some areas can get especially with cases like this one where the suspect was already on forgery charges 
and btw did you know that Harris County has seen a 22% increase in violent crime since 2022? 
anyways let's just hope justice is served for Troy and his family 
and now they get to hear that his killer might be behind bars but still no closure what I hope is that justice is served soon

it's crazy how a cellphone signal can lead you to a body and then years later, new evidence comes out like what if something else happened that night that we don't know about yet 
. And now that Roberts is in jail, does that really bring any closure to the Styles family or his mom who found him? The fact that he was tracked through his phone makes me wonder if someone was watching Troy before he got killed

so Troy styles was killed like two months ago but now dey think Desean Roberts might be connected to it 
he got arrested on forgery charges but now dey got him on murder too 
which is insane. I don't know how the detectives tracked him down but apparently his mom found his body and she followed his phone to this apartment complex and called 911 
. And now that Desean Roberts has been arrested on forgery charges, it's possible he might've had a hand in Styles' death
