omg can't believe cleto is gone! i loved watching him jam on jimmy kimmel live he was always so cool under pressure & brought so much energy to the show like remember when he sang that one time? what a legend! my heart goes out to jimmy kimmel & his family, losing a true friend is never easy

OMG u guys I'm still trying 2 wrap my head around this Cleto Escobedo III was more than jus a bandleader 4 Jimmy Kimmel Live he had connections 2 the music industry 4 real tho signed w/ Paula Abdul Marc Anthony & Earth Wind & Fire...and his dad was a saxophonist too that's some deep roots u know I'm thinkin' maybe it was all part of a bigger plan or somethin' idk but there's gotta b more 2 this story

I'm so sad to hear about Cleto's passing . I mean, who wouldn't love a guy who could rock multiple saxophones and still manage to make you laugh? Jimmy Kimmel has been pretty tight-lipped about the cause of death, but that just makes it even more mysterious... like a plot twist from one of their late-night sketches

I've always loved how Cleto brought his own brand of rock 'n' roll charm to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" It's clear he left a mark on the show and its fans. I can just imagine him sneaking into garbage cans with Jimmy as a kid... that sounds like so much fun!

Cleto may be gone, but his music will live on . If you haven't checked out "The Cletones" yet, do! You won't regret it

Just heard the sad news about Cleto Escobedo III . I'm so used to seeing him bring the energy with his sax playing on Live! it's like something's missing now . He was more than just a bandleader, he was part of the family . I remember when Jimmy first started the show and Cleto was still learning the ropes – they were both so funny together . The nicknames you mentioned are classic – who else can rock 'n' roll through a garbage can in style ? My favorite memory of him is probably from that 50th birthday episode, we all went wild when he came out on stage . Anyway, RIP Cleto – you may be gone but your music lives on .
