‘In a Violent Nature 2’ Set to Hit the EFM With Charades on Board (EXCLUSIVE)

International Sales Banner Charades Boards Horror Sequel "In a Violent Nature 2"

Charades, a prominent Paris-based international sales banner, has added another horror sequel to its slate. The new film, titled "In a Violent Nature 2," is set to premiere at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin and will be heavily promoted by Charades.

The first installment of the series, "In a Violent Nature," premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2024 and gained cult status upon its theatrical release. The sequel follows the same terrifying premise as its predecessor: Johnny, a vengeful undead killer, seeks revenge after a group of teens steal his golden locket.

The new film boasts an impressive cast, including Lucas Nguyen, Olivia Scriven, Laurie Babin, Fionn Laird, Donald MacLean Jr., and Evan Marsh. The story is written by Chris Nash and directed by Nathaniel Wilson, with producers Peter Kuplowsky, Shannon Hanmer, and Nash, alongside co-producer Liane Cunje.

Charades' involvement in the project marks a notable addition to its horror slate, which also includes "Psycho Goreman." According to producer Peter Kuplowsky, Charades has been drawn to the film's increased level of ultraviolence and distinct hook, while still honoring established slasher traditions.

The EFM marks the beginning of Charades' promotional push for "In a Violent Nature 2," with other horror films like Kiyoshi Kurosawa's "Kokurojo: The Samurai and the Prisoner" and Yoshitoshi Shinomiya's "A New Dawn" also set to participate in the event.

omg, i'm low-key hyped for "In a Violent Nature 2"!!! 😍🎃 charades is bringing some serious heat with this one, and that cast? 🔥👻 lucas nguyen, olivia scriven, laurie babin... i need to know what's going down in this sequel! 🤯 the fact that it's a horror film with ultraviolence and a twist on established slasher traditions is giving me major vibes. and charades' involvement just makes it a no-brainer buy-in 🤑 can't wait for efm and see how it all goes down 💥

omg I'm so hyped for this one, "In a Violent Nature 2" sounds like it's gonna be super gory and intense 🤯! I loved the first one, but I know some people found it a bit too slow-paced... fingers crossed they upped their game with the sequel 💪. Charades is always bringing heat to horror sales banners 🎬. They've got an awesome cast lined up this time around and I'm excited to see how Nathaniel Wilson brings the terror 😱. Can't wait for more updates on EFM!

OMG, another horror sequel 🤯! I mean, I'm all for a good scare fest, but sometimes it feels like we're just stuck in a never-ending loop of "killers with weird backstories." That being said, the cast looks pretty solid, and if they can deliver on the ultraviolence, I might actually be interested 🤔. Charades has done some great work with their horror films, especially with "Psycho Goreman" – let's see if "In a Violent Nature 2" can live up to the hype 💀.

I'm so done with all these horror sequels 🤪. Like, can't we just leave the undead killer alone? I mean, what's next, a spin-off on Johnny's grandma or something? And don't even get me started on the golden locket - who steals that from an old dude? It's just begging for a heist movie parody 😂. I'm all about the psychological thrillers and indie dramas over this mindless gore fest any day...

Ugh, another horror sequel 🎃😡... I mean, I get it, people love that genre and all, but can't we have a break from the gore fest for one day? Charades is really raking it in with this one too, adding more bloodlust to their already impressive slate 🤑. The cast looks decent, I guess, but let's be real, who cares about these random actors when you've got a killer on the loose and all that jazz 💀? At least Kiyoshi Kurosawa's film is actually worth watching... or something 🤷‍♂️.

Ugh, what's next? More violent movies that glorify killing? I'm all for a good thriller, but come on! Can't we have some more positive vibes? 🤕 We're living in times where we should be focusing on uplifting stories and promoting empathy, not perpetuating horror and violence. And another thing, is this really what we want to see promoted at the EFM? It just feels like they're catering to a specific crowd that's already fascinated by that stuff. I wish more movies would tackle real issues and spark meaningful conversations instead of just being sensationalized for shock value 😒

I'm loving this new horror sequel, though I gotta say, a locket is kinda weird thing to want revenge over 🤯🎃️. And with that cast? I'm hyped! Fionn Laird's been on my radar for ages and Evan Marsh too 💥. Have you guys seen the trailer? It looks so intense 😬. Charades bringing it to EFM in Berlin is a big deal, they're always pushing the limits with horror films 👻. And Psycho Goreman is another fave of mine 🤪, can't wait to see what else they got cooking 🍳

OMG, have you seen any of the first movie in this series? I'm a bit skeptical about adding another horror sequel 🤯♂️🎃️... it feels like there are already so many creepy movies out there. But if Charades is on board with this one, I trust their taste 😊. The cast looks amazing! Who's down for a thrilling night in? 🍿💀

Ugh, another horror sequel 🤯🎃... I mean, what's next? A 3D remake of every slasher film from the 80s? 😂 Charades just keeps milking this cash cow and adding more and more unnecessary sequels. Can't they come up with something new for once? The fact that this one is already getting promo push at EFM before it even hits theaters tells me we're in for another mindless, over-the-top blood fest 💀👻

lol what's up with these horror sequels, can't they come up with something new? its like, i get it, we love a good scare, but 2 already?! its not like im gonna be lining up around the block for this one. on the bright side, lucas nguyen and olivia scriven are in it so that's a plus 🤔🎃

🤔 I'm not buying it... how do we know this movie is actually going to be scary? All these horror movies are just a marketing ploy, right? 🤑 I mean, what makes us think this sequel is going to be any better than the first one? The cast seems pretty solid, but that's not enough to guarantee a good movie. Where's the trailer? Have they released any clips or images to give us an idea of what we're getting ourselves into? 📺

I don't know why they're making another one of these horror movies... I mean, I've seen the first one and it was pretty intense, but do we really need a sequel? It seems like every other day there's a new movie about some killer or monster or whatever. Can't they come up with something more original?

I'm so down for more horror movies, you know? I mean, who doesn't love a good scare every now and then 😅. Charades adding this sequel to their slate is a great move - it shows they're willing to take risks on films that might not appeal to everyone, which can be kinda refreshing in the horror genre.

I'm also loving the cast list for this one 🤩. It's like they went out of their way to pick people who could really bring some tension and fear to their roles. And the fact that it's still honoring established slasher traditions but with an extra kick is definitely a plus 👊.

It's crazy how cult classics can be born from just another horror movie 🤯. "In a Violent Nature" already has a following, so I'm curious to see what Charades brings to the table with this sequel. Bring it on! 💥

🤯 I'm low-key hyped for this new horror flick, gotta say though, a vengeful undead killer seeking revenge after some teens steal his golden locket? That's like something straight outta an old-school slasher film, but with a modern twist. The cast looks solid too, can't wait to see how they all come together to bring the scares. 🎃💀

omg i just watched the trailer for In a Violent Nature 2 🤯 and i'm like totally freaking out 😱 what's with all the blood and gore? is it really that violent tho? 🤔 i dont wanna see any actual deaths on screen lol 😂 but at the same time, i love a good horror movie... can someone please recommend me some good ones to watch while i'm waiting for this one to come out? 🎬

omg i'm so down for a scary movie marathon this weekend 🎃🍿 i mean, who doesn't love a good horror flick every now and then? i've heard that the first one was pretty intense, but the new sequel sounds even more insane with all that ultraviolence 😱💥 i'm curious to see how it compares to the original, though. charades is known for taking risks with their picks, so i trust they'll put this film in good hands 🤞

🤯 I'm so down for this new horror sequel, can't wait to see Johnny's revenge mode in action 🎃👻. I loved the first one, it was like a wild rollercoaster ride of scares and suspense...and some teens who thought they could outsmart an undead killer? 😂 Please. Charades bringing its A-game with this promotion is gonna make "In a Violent Nature 2" the talk of the town 📣.
