Hwang Jung-min, Yum Jung-ah Return for ‘Mission: Cross 2′ as Netflix Dates ‘The Price of Confession,’ ’10Dance’ and ‘Badly in Love’

Netflix has confirmed a trio of new releases, including the sequel to its hit action-comedy "Mission: Cross," starring Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah.

The original film's success, which topped Netflix's Global Top 10 Movies chart within three days and ranked in the top 10 across 43 countries during its second week, has prompted a follow-up installment. Writer-director Lee Myung-hoon returns to helm "Mission: Cross 2," which centers on a national treasure heist recovery operation.

Hwang Jung-min reprises his role as Kang-mu, a former special ops agent pulled back into action when the President tasks him with recovering a stolen national treasure. Yum Jung-ah returns as Mi-seon, a former Asian Games shooting silver medalist turned detective who finds herself demoted to a seaside provincial station before rejoining her husband for the new mission.

The ensemble cast includes several new additions, including Yoon Kyung-ho as Cheon In-hak, head of a shadowy organization targeting cultural treasures; Im Seong-jae as Duchil, a black-market dealer; Cha In-pyo as the President; and Kim Kuk-hee as the President's Chief of Staff. Jung Man-sik, Cha Rae-hyung, and Lee Ho-cheol round out the cast.

Meanwhile, Netflix Japan has unveiled release dates for two titles arriving in December: dance film "10Dance" and unscripted dating series "Badly in Love."

"10Dance," premiering December 18, adapts Inouesatoh's manga about two competitive dancers both named Shinya. Ryoma Takeuchi makes his Netflix film debut as Shinya Suzuki, Japan's Latin Dance champion, while Keita Machida stars as Shinya Sugiki, Japan's Ballroom champion and the world's No. 2-ranked dancer.

Keishi Otomo directs the adaptation, which won the "This BL Is Amazing! 2019" award in its original manga form.

"Badly in Love," launching December 9, gathers 11 former delinquents for a 14-day dating experiment set at the Badly in Love Academy. The unscripted series concludes with a graduation ceremony where participants must confess their feelings to their chosen romantic interest.

In other news, Netflix has set a December 5 premiere for mystery thriller series "The Price of Confession," starring Jeon Do-yeon as Yun-su, a woman accused of murdering her husband, and Mo Eun, a mysterious woman she encounters in prison. The psychological thriller follows Yun-su's unusual behavior during police questioning, which raises questions about her guilt or innocence.

Additional releases include "Badly in Love" on December 9, and the upcoming "The Boyfriend" Season 2.

Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah are back as our fave characters 🤩🎥 I've been following their adventures since the first film, and I know they're gonna bring the heat again! The new cast looks pretty cool too - I'm intrigued by the shadowy organization and the President's drama 🤑👊 And can we talk about how awesome it is that we get more of Mi-seon? 😎 Can't wait to binge-watch this on December 18th 📺🕰️

I'm so stoked to hear that Netflix is dropping another awesome movie! 🎥👍 "Mission: Cross 2" sounds like it's gonna be a thrilling ride with an epic cast. Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah are back, and I'm loving the addition of new faces too! 😊 The plot about a national treasure heist recovery operation is giving me all the espionage feels 🕵️‍♂️💥. Netflix Japan's got some great stuff coming up too, especially "10Dance" with its Latin Dance champion Ryoma Takeuchi - I'm feeling the beat already 💃🏽🎶! And can we talk about how intriguing the unscripted dating series "Badly in Love" sounds? 🤔💘 #NetflixNewReleases #MissionCross2 #10Dance #BadlyInLove

I'm low-key excited for the sequel to "Mission: Cross" - I loved the first one! It's awesome that Netflix is giving fans a follow-up with a new storyline. I also think it's cool how they're introducing new characters like Yoon Kyung-ho, he sounds like an interesting addition 🤔.

I'm not familiar with the manga "10Dance", but the casting for the dance film looks great! Ryoma Takeuchi and Keita Machida are both talented actors, and I love that Keishi Otomo is directing. A dance-themed film could be a lot of fun 🎨.

On a different note, I'm intrigued by the mystery thriller series "The Price of Confession". The plot sounds super suspenseful, especially with Jeon Do-yeon starring as the main character. Can't wait to find out what happens! 💡

I'm not sure why Netflix is so hyped about this sequel to "Mission: Cross". The original was okay, but I don't see what's so special about a heist recovery op. And Hwang Jung-min is just too old for this action-comedy stuff. Plus, the plot sounds super predictable - former ops agent gets pulled back in, national treasure gets stolen... it's like they took every spy movie cliche and mashed them all together. 🤔 I'm gonna wait and see if anyone actually cares about this one before diving in.
