Democrat Eric Swalwell faces federal criminal inquiry for alleged mortgage fraud

I think Eric Swalwell is totally guilty ... wait, no way, I'm sure he's innocent . I mean, if there was any chance of him getting caught up in a scam, wouldn't Trump be all over it, trying to take him down with his super powerful investigation skills? But at the same time, what if this is just another example of Democrats being unfairly targeted by Trump's vindictiveness? I'm not buying it, but maybe... probably he'll get off scot-free and Trump will be all like "I told you so" . This whole thing is super suspicious and I don't trust the investigation one bit .

I'm kinda surprised that Swalwell is getting hit with another investigation. I mean, sure he's been a vocal critic of Trump, but isn't that just part of being an elected official? Can't we expect more from our politicians when they're holding the other guy in office accountable? It's crazy to me how Trump is using these investigations as some kind of punishment for his enemies. I think it's time we start questioning whether this is really about upholding the law or just trying to silence dissenting voices. The fact that he's going after multiple Democrats on similar charges also raises some red flags...

Ugh man Trumps latest move is just getting outta hand . He thinks he can just go around smearing people left and right just 'cause they disagree with him? It's like, come on dude . Eric Swalwell is a public figure who's spoken truth to power his whole career, and now Trump's trying to take him down? Give me a break .

And can we talk about how this is just part of the pattern here? More Democrats are being targeted, more investigations launched... it's like Trump's trying to create some kind of witch hunt . Newsflash, dude: you're not above the law . The man needs to calm down and focus on governing or whatever .

Man, this is getting crazy . It feels like Trump is on a mission to take down anyone who dares to speak out against him. I mean, Eric Swalwell's been vocal about his criticisms for years, and now he's facing a federal investigation? That's just ridiculous .
